We want to say thank you to everyone who has helped to make 2021 a success. Thank you to our vendors, our partners, our customers, and our team.  

We’ve pulled together some shining moments over the last year to share with you all. All of this is possible because of you! We have added new product lines, grown our team, and been a part of some incredible projects. 

Maverick will continue to offer unmatched support and bring the same “Give a Damn” attitude into the new year. 

Maverick’s new product lines in 2021: 

This year we acquired some new partnerships! In January, we added a heavy-duty line of rock trommels with MDS International. Summer of 2021, Maverick took on the trailer industry with XL Specialized Trailers, offering customized options for the heavy-haul industry. In October, we added Morbark’s horizontal grinder, tub grinder, whole tree chipper, Chiparvestor, and flail lines, all kicked off by The Paul Bunyan Show. As of November 2021, we have expanded our Eagle Crusher territory into Ohio, now covering both Ohio and Michigan.  

MWS Equipment Wash Plant at Arms Sand & Gravel:  

We have covered this project from start to finish, as I’m sure you’ve seen if you’ve been following along. Working in tandem with MWS Equipment, cement contractors, electricians, plumbing, and engineers, we upgraded our customer’s outdated plant.

Another Project with Barton Malow:

Our team has been asked back to another Barton Malow job site with a crushing and screening spread preparing the site for another large facility. The team has been on site since the beginning of December, keeping up with crushing and screening operations and maintenance. Another great opportunity for our team that we are excited to be a part of! 

McCloskey/MWS Equipment Wash Plant at R.W. Sidley’s 

Another wash plant designed and installed by our team! While this setup did not require the same time and planning as Arms, this is a prime example of meeting our customer where they’re at and coming up with a solution that works for them financially, functionally, and within the required timeline.  

Maverick Celebrated 5 Years! 

The end of 2021 marked 5 years since the inception of Maverick. Five years ago, managing partner, Tim Smith drove from Northeast Ohio up to Michigan in his wife’s Volkwagen to meet managing partner, Charlie Stahl- no shop, no service trucks, no employees, no inventory- to make the first sale of Maverick, a McCloskey 123 Sizer.  

Fast forward 5 years: Maverick has 3 full-service shops, near 35 employees between all locations, mobile service units, a large inventory of equipment and parts, and our very own heavy-haul tractor-trailer fleet. We are proud of how far we’ve come and are grateful for our partners, our team, and our customers that have helped us to get to where we are today!
