Maverick’s biggest project of the year was designing, installing, and commissioning a new sand and gravel wash plant for local business, Arms Sand & Gravel. This turnkey project broke ground in early June and was just recently commissioned in October.
Our team has been heavily involved in each step of the process, including working with contractors to engineer the concrete pad, assembling the equipment, plumbing, electrical, start-up, and maintenance of the plant. Equipment: MWS Equipment Sandstorm 620 Twin Sand Plant with ST100E Radial Stacking Conveyor, and MWS Equipment Aggstorm 15XL Aggregate Plant
Products: The new plant turns out 2 washed spec sands and 5 washed aggregates, with the only waste being the silts screened out of the sands and returned to the settling pond. The Aggstorm is set up to screen out 2-4", 1.5-2”, #4, #57, and #8 gravel.
