Maverick is hiring a Heavy-Haul Driver to run out of our Perris, CA office!
We value our team dynamic and are looking for someone who is not only qualified for the job, but who will be an asset to our company's culture. Our drivers handle everything from local runs in their respective territories to cross-country hauls to deliver equipment to long-distance customers and pick up from vendor factories and other Mav locations. They drive our business forward! Without our heavy-haul team, we would be outsourcing for transportation with every machine sale, rental, and service-related move.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maverick's Heavy-Haul Team is responsible for loading, securing, transporting, and offloading equipment. Our equipment ranges from crushers and screeners, to grinders and stacking conveyors - some are tracked and some are towable. Much of what we haul is overweight and/or oversized and permitted. Our drivers work with our Trucking Coordinator to make and keep a schedule, plan routes, and ensure all necessary paperwork is in-hand.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining truck (keep it clean, regular maintenance, etc.)
- Photos of all loads for documentation
- Interacting with customers during pick-up/drop-off. Everywhere you go, you represent Maverick.
- Keeping track of all extras that come with a machine (remote, manual, keys, etc.)
Skills
MUST HAVE:
Current and Valid Class A CDL License
Must be competent in hauling oversized/overweight loads, and operating equipment to load/offload.
